I think Extend Conditions is still winning.

I think Mantra of Recovery is actually a good mesmer elite, now. Not sure how I feel about their other elites...

Unyielding Aura used to be hilarious fun when I saw it in Random Arenas. And I carried Drain Enchantment. You know, before Glyph of Lesser Energy became almost elite-worthy...

It beats Archer's Signet to a pulp. It can actually be used for energy gain without a billion points in Expertise - auto attacks for the energy. :/

But yeah, lackluster.

Again with Second Wind: it beats all other "instant" energy gain in raw energy gained after only around 10 exhaustion.

Well, I disagree with alot of things that are said here, and I've got something I'd be booted for spam with, but uh, top of my list has Magehunter Smash (not to be confused with magehunter strike) and Wastrel's Collapse which was more appropriately named Shameful Waste.

Strong disagreement with any commentary against "The Power is yours!" since I play a paragon frequently and Leadership and Energizing Chorus nullify most of the downside of the skill anyhow. And no one ever seems to realize how well Stone Sheath combines with Ward Against Elements if you hadn't noticed yet...

Yes it combines but only on attackers, only on a zone... casters are not affected, like mesmers fo example :x. But I'll try ;p

I'd have to agree, marksmans wager is definitely one of the worst out there. I will never see a use for this, ever, competitive or casual its just so restrictive there is no specific environment where this even shines.

Well, signet judgment + mantra of inscription is much better.
Because a real smiter wouldn't just click WoC so blindless... and even if WoC has conditional longer recharge so?

If you browse smiting skill list... you do realize there are spear of light, banish and other smiting spell which u can combine with WoC right?

Just like air spiker u don't just blindly clip ur elite spell without other skills.

WoC easily combine with banish, smite, spear of light, or even bane signet. U don't even need mesmer or any other 2nd profession's support to boost or fast recharge the elite itself.

I'm not saying I don't like Signet of Judgement, it's just WoC are far away from being useless.

I'd also wanna comment on one of the post about Air elite Gust! Gust is very tricky to use...but if u use it right it's one of the best air elite!! What I do is using a cheap water hex such as Rust + Gust + Fetid Ground. It work nicely in both pve and pvp! (its fun too!)

Well, I suppose Peace and Harmony can have its uses. I was on the Venta Cemetery mission and the other monk in the party was using Peace and Harmony on Olias (Who was set up for MM) and it seemed his combat mode was set to "avoid combat".

But seriously, a paltry +1 energy regeneration? I once saw this monk who kept using PaH on Koss...who of course was set to "attack".

Moral of the story? SET YOUR HEROES TO AVOID COMBAT BEFORE USING IT ON THEM

Worst skill has to be scavenger's focus. Other bad skills can be played around with to get some convoluted use out of them, however mediocre it may be. SV is the worst not because it's doesn't do anything, but because for every conceivable use for it, there's another skill that does the same thing but better and isn't an elite. Hence there is no possible situation where you would ever take it as your elite, making it completely useless.

Except for the fact that's the only way a Necromancer can get ahold of Bleeding to transfer, if my memory serves me. And look at the cast time. I remember it was abused for something back in the day, but I forget.

And to the people who are bashing Scavenger's Focus, I'm fairly sure that it's + damage, which ignores armor.

Regardless of armour ignoring damage, it blows - why waste your elite for a damage prep? That's conditional.

Oh yeah, this is the most useless skill [skill]Eviscerate[/skill] needs a major buff, it's so stupid.

In addition to [card]Peace and Harmony[/card], I must agree with the OP that [card]"The Power Is Yours!"[/card] is pretty bad as well.

Think about it. If a support Paragon wishes to use that skill with Nukers, he would need 4 shouts of "The Power Is Yours!" at 12 Motivation to sustain 1 Rodgort's Invocation, assuming the nukers were at 0 energy.

And in the meantime, -10 energy degeneration? Come on, if you absolutely HAVE to use that skill then use it at 0 energy.
